Mum pleads for help with mice infestation

A mum whose home is infested with mice has called on her housing association to help her tackle the problem. Beza Mahmod said she had discovered the animals in cudboards and behind floorboards at her home in Wimbledon - and even seen one crawl over her baby. Housing association Merton Priory Homes (MPH) said vermin control was the responsibility of tenants - but Ms Mahmod, of Downside Close, said MPH needed to take action as her neighbours were also suffering. Ms Mahmod said she had invested in traps and poisons, but had been unable to get rid of the rodents.
