UAE minister meets counterparts in New York

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met his counterparts from various countries on the sidelines of the 66th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

He met the foreign ministers of Cyprus, Peru, Mexico, Canada, Singapore and Guinea.

The UAE minister discussed with them ways to boost bilateral relations as well as matters related to trade and investment.

Sheikh Abdullah also met US Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs Jeffrey Feltman, and discussed with him the UAE's and America's stances towards the latest developments in the Middle East.
