PASIG CITY, June 29 (PIA) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will be conducting the Webinar on Alternative Work Arrangements on Tuesday June 30 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
The CSC told the PIA-NCR that the webinar is free and participants may tune in via CSC's official Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/ civilservicegovph.
This is line with the CSC's goal to help government workers prepare for the "new normal" during the COVID-19 crisis situation. The webinar also aims to increase understanding and appreciation of new policies regarding alternative work arrangements.
As the premier human resource institution of the Philippine government, the CSC continues to explore new ways through which government may fulfill its duties to the public without sacrificing the health and safety of civil servants.
Thus, the webinar will include a discussion on the salient provisions of CSC Memorandum Circular No. 10 or the Revised Interim Guidelines for Alternative Work Arrangements and Support Mechanisms for Workers in the Government During the Period of State of National Emergency Due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
Another topic to be featured on the webinar will be leadership perspectives and best practices on alternative work arrangements.
A question and answer portion follows at 1:30 p.m. via CSC's Facebook Live program, LunChat with CSC. (PIA NCR)
