HostColor.com (HC) announced Dedicated Private Clouds and customer virtual private networks (VPN) solutions hosted on stand-alone or clustered 1 Gbps Dedicated Server systems. Dedicated Private Clouds are also called Dedicated Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-service (DCIaaS). The DCIaaS plans feature WireGuard VPN technology and a full 1-gigabit internet connection.
WireGuard is cross-platform software used to implement encrypted virtual private networks (VPNs). It is considered by the IT security industry experts as one of the most secure, easiest to use, and simplest VPN solutions. HostColor uses WireGuardto apply custom security policies of its DCIaaS clients to their Dedicated Private Cloud environments.
'HostColor's Dedicated Private Clouds (DCIaaS) are fully-customizable, completely isolated, and secure IT infrastructure solutions, created with Proxmox VE, Linux Containers (LCX), Kubernetes container orchestration, or VMware ESXi virtualization technologies,' says HostColor's CEO Dimitar Avramov. He adds that the company now offers DCIaaS in 50 data centers worldwide - 19 in the U.S., 3 in Canada, 1 in the UK, 12 in Europe, and 5 in Asia, with Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Singapore, Tokyo.
In the U.S., HostColor delivers DCIaaS from data centers in Ashburn, Virginia; Atlanta, Georgia; Bend, Oregon; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; Denver, Colorado; Detroit, Michigan; Kansas City, Missouri; Los Angeles and Santa Clara, California; Miami, Florida; Newark, New Jersey; New York, NY; Seattle, Washington; South Bend, Indiana. In Canada, the company uses data centers in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
The unmetered 1 Gbps DCIaaS connectivity and the custom WireGuard-based VPN configurations are additions to the Dedicated Cloud services announced by HostColor.com in August 2022.
