FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London has been named to the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2025, the league announced Tuesday.
London checked in at No. 97.
Last season, London caught 100 receptions for 1,271 yards and nine touchdowns. Those totals ranked ninth, fourth and ninth in the NFL, respectively.
"Drake is a really funny one because he comes across as this really nice, just calm demeanor human, and he is absolutely the opposite when it comes to football," Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said this offseason. "He is a barnyard bully. He's a dog. He's a high-level competitor. You better get your coaching and your information to him during the week because when the lights come on, it's time to play football, and he's going to go."
It was the first time in London's three-year career he reached 100 receptions. His 100th and final catch was an 11-yarder from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. in the fourth quarter of the Falcons' Week 18 overtime loss to the Carolina Panthers. London became just the fifth player in Falcons history with triple-digit receptions and the most recent since former wide receiver Julio Jones in 2018.
It was also the first time in London's career he broke 1,000 yards. He did so inthe Falcons Week 17 overtime lossto the Washington Commanders when he caught a 14-yard pass from Penix in the second quarter.
The nine touchdowns were a personal-best, too, far surpassing his previous high of four in 2022.
London accomplished all that with a new offensive coordinator in Zac Robinson and not one but two new quarterbacks.
"Drake is an unbelievable player," Robinson said. "He's a big part of this organization, big part of the offense. What he was able to accomplish last year in the first year of me being around him was unbelievable. Obviously the pass game and a lot of stuff went through him, and some of the stuff with the run game goes through him as well."
Because of his successful 2024, the Falcons chose topick up Londons fifth-year optionthat'll keep him in Atlanta now through the 2026 season.
The Falcons drafted London in 2022 with the No. 8 overall pick. Since then, he has showed year-over-year improvement. The anticipation is that will continue into 2025.
"What I do appreciate from him is his approach every day," Falcons wide receiver coach Ike Hilliard said. "It's business-like; he's all ball. It's an approach that one can appreciate because he's trying to take his game to the next level. So, we're looking for more from him now, not just because of the fifth-year option, but because that's what we expect."
In 2024, the Falcons had four players make the NFL's Top 100 Players list. Offensive guard Chris Lindstrom was No. 88; quarterback Kirk Cousins was No. 81; safety Jessie Bates III was No. 74; and safety Justin Simmons, who signed with the team after the series was published, ranked No. 57.
The remaining players for 2025 will continue to be announced daily by@NFL on X/Twitter.
